Transformational Coaching With Zak Borden

After 27 years in the fields of music performance and education, I have now pursued additional training and accreditation as a transformational and solution-focused life coach. I’ve wrapped up my classes and I am now booking sessions. I have been amazed at the results my clients have already achieved for themselves! As I launch my private practice and deepen this work, I am offering one complimentary hour-long session where you can get a feel for this dynamic and engaging process. My approach is anchored in a passion for meaningful conversations that stem from a spirit of openness and inquiry. I come with the belief that all my clients are already whole and have everything they need to create a fulfilling life. But, as humans we are predisposed to well-worn thought patterns that hide this truth from us. That’s where the coach comes in. Think of me as your own dedicated, deep listener and thinking partner – somebody who will encourage positive change and gently disrupt those deeply-entrenched blindspots so that new and unexpected momentum can emerge.

The ideal client for this kind of work has a sense of resourcefulness and is ready to do the good work it takes to really grow – even in the face of complex life or work struggles. I engage with people who are willing to courageously transform the behaviors, beliefs and relationships keeping them stuck. I am committed to bringing my very best to every session, and I expect the same from my potential clients. This process only works if both parties are all in.
